Proverbs 3:1-2
This week you are responsible for everything we have learned so far:
Galatians 5:16-17
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. Galatians 5:22-23 ESV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:17
17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[a] you want. *REMEMBER* Next week you will need to know Galatians 5:16-17, so keep reviewing last week's verse, too. Galatians 5:16 NIV
This week, instead of memorizing a verse, we are going to be memorizing the books of the Old Testament in order. I have include a YouTube video below that I found very helpful. There are many other songs and helpful hints available out there; this just happens to be my favorite. We will start working on our Bible Memory Verses next week!
